Abusive Police Practices A MOM AFRAID

I am ranting today. I feel young people in DC needs much prayer. They have to deal with violent kids and maybe abusive police. I have been told that the police haras boys. They have to have id on their person all the time. You go out jogging and forget your id I think the DC Police cook you. I hate the idea of apartheid type policing. Young men in the area of DC feel that many on this police force are bullies. Is there some type of a way police can do their jobs without pre-nazi like practices. They are suppose to practice a role of preventive deterrent to crime and disorder. They are not to humiliate young men who are not committing crime, only jogging and exercising in the morning. Are young men forbidden to walk on the sidewalks of DC. Is it the darker you are more like they stop you, make you late for work , school or just do they like striking fear into the hearts of young people. It is very frustrating. Why would they stop someone 5"2 and they are looking for someone 6"2. Somebody please tell me. I feel that young men endure the injustices of discrimination, entrapment and verbal abuse at the hands of those responsible for protecting them -- the police. I feel that there is a group within the police department here wanting to cause suffering and fear on young people. I believe that there are good cops out there. I believe some of them are in fear of rocking the boat. Please offices you have to rock the boat sometimes for the good. If you have people in the force who uses pre-nazi like practices you can do something about it. Check out AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL report about police abuse in our country. I am in fear for the young men in my neighborhood who go to school, work and church. I have to put it in God's hands I know that to be true.

I am praying to my Heavenly Father on behave of bothe sides. I feel that I understand that being a police officer is very dangerous and it changes people to be in that kind of danger. God touch the hearts and minds of the police and the young men in this city. Have mercy Heavenly Father on them. Awaken your spirit in them. Give them the right mind. Guide them into your your love and righteusness. Bless them with your protection and salvation in the name of Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father. Amen!
